MMT Centre Doctoral Students

Berit Bertelsen holds a degree in Business Administration from the Technical University Berlin. She has gained international working experience within accounting advisory and financial reporting as Assistant Manager at KPMG Berlin. Her research interests include financial reporting of media companies and accounting issues in the media branch.

Benjamin Hartmann holds degrees from Lund University (International Marketing and Brand Management) and the Technical University Berlin (Business Administration). He has working experience within the area of innovation marketing and management consulting. His research interests include media branding and marketing, consumer culture, and the challenges for media firms caused by the Internet.

Edward Humphreys has a degree in Law and French from the University of Bristol and a postgraduate diploma in Intellectual Property Law and Practice from the same institution. He also has a postgraduate diploma in English legal practice and is qualified as a solicitor in England. His research interests include intellectual property protection for television programme formats.

Anette Johansson has a master’s degree in business administration from JIBS (2001). She has international working experience within brand management and marketing in both the BTC and BTB market. Her research interests include marketing and leadership in media companies.
Maria Norbäck holds a degree in business administration from the Gothenburg University School of Economics and Commercial Law. Her research interest include business management and organisational issues.

Mart Ots received a master’s degree in business administration from the School of Business, Economics and Law at Gothenburg University and has worked with print and internet publishing as well as with marketing communications and branding. His research interests include marketing and business development in media industries, along with issues concerning media policy and industry regulation.

Elena Raviola has a degree in business administration (with a major in Management for Arts, Culture and Communication) from Bocconi University. She also holds a master's degree in International Management from Bocconi University and Groupe HEC Paris. Her research interests include industry configuration, corporate strategy and business model development in media companies.

Zehra Sayed has a Master's degree in Journalism studies from Strathclyde University, Glasgow. She also holds a diploma in Journalism Techniques from City & Guilds, London. Her research interests include media ownership, content management and implications of foreign investment into emerging media markets.
