JIBS is the most international business school in Sweden and one of the most international in the world. With over 750 international students from 75 different countries, our campus is a mini United Nations.

With one third of our students and faculty coming from countries outside Scandinavia, we host students and faculty from over 75 countries. Our programmes on all three levels, bachelor, master, and doctoral, are delivered in English.

Some of the things we arrange for our international students are:
- Accommodation
- Pick-up service
- Contact person at International office
- Swedish courses
- Contact family

International Programme Students
For international students involved in complete programmes at JIBS, the left hand menu is important for preparing the journey to Sweden and to get an idea of costs, studies and student life. Contact person Tomas Bengtsson.

Tuition-fees
From August 2011 Swedish universities, including JIBS, will introduce tuition fees for students from outside of the EU/EEA (and Switzerland).

Students who will pay tuition fees:

  • Fees will be introduced only for students from outside of the EU/EEA
  • Fees will apply to undergraduate and graduate courses and programmes (i.e. Bachelor’s and Master’s level courses and programmes).
  • Fees will be introduced for students starting a programme in August 2011 and onwards.

Students who will not pay tuition fees:

  • Students from within the EU/EEA will not be charged fees.
  • Exchange students (from all countries) will not be charged tuition fees.
  • Students who have already started a studying before fees are introduced, will not be expected to pay fees when they are introduced. For example, if you begin a two-year programme in 2010, you will be able to complete your studies without paying fees.

Fee-structure at JIBS
Bachelor programmes: 10.000 EURO/year
Master programmes (1- and 2-year programmes): 13.000 EURO/year

International Exchange Students
International students coming to JIBS as exchange students must come from one of JIBS's partner universities. Exchange students remain registered at their home university, but the courses they take at JIBS can generally be counted towards their degree at home. Exchange students usually study at JIBS for one or two semesters. They are all required to apply to JIBS on-line. Contact person Leticia Lövkvist.

All international students
International students are fully integrated into the main student body at JIBS. They take their courses and share accommodation with the Swedish students. There is no separate programme for international students as they are treated in all respects as regular JIBS students.
